Born in 1979 in La Rochelle, and now living in Paris, I spent my childhood between France and Tahiti, which enabled me to see and appreciate the many facets of the world and its cultures from an early age.
Art and discovery have always been the essence of my life.
After a taste of television, radio, stage and music, I became a chief editor while embarking on photography in 2002, at the same time creating an artists' association.
Even after embracing a new creative profession, event decoration, I've never found a better way than photography to create and share beauty, or rather "my beauty".
I like to show you what you can't see, because you're running too fast!
To be the only one there, at that moment, to be able to capture an image and give you my interpretation of it, mini instants that seem unique to me, to give them substance through grain or blur, to accentuate a melancholy in absence or symmetry, to invent or rewrite a story through light or decadence... this is my vision of the World around me.
My work is done on foot, mainly with my iPhone (which I've renamed "Digital Polaroid"), in silver with a Mamiya C330 or a Zorki 4, and a small digital Leica. I like to be able to create and capture these stories in total freedom, without being dependent on cumbersome equipment, as I am surprised by the images of everyday life...
