It is as freelance that Bernard BAKALIAN discovers the world of the press and photojournalism. Very quickly he takes the paths of motorsports and discovers the Formula 1. Reporter-photographer at the agency GAMMA, he covers the F1 Grand Prix and becomes the photographer of the future quadruple champion of the French world, Alain PROST.
