Biologist and geologist by training, naturalist and photographer by passion, I travel season after season through the Alps, the Jura and the Bugey, or various more distant regions, in search of new images of wild forests, lakes and mountains, fauna and flora, still preserved from the accelerated trivialization of the environment and the landscapes...
To photograph is not only to record and reproduce reality, it is also to sublimate it and interpret it in an artistic way, by a framing and a focal length which stimulates the imagination and surprises the eye. I therefore use mainly the very wide angle (12 mm) which magnifies the foreground, and makes the image breathe, or the long focal lengths (200 mm and more) which allow to isolate a remarkable detail and to focus the attention.
